Lora and Chris Maternity Shoot

Lora and Chris asked me to shoot photos of them during their pregnancy. Actually, we’re shooting 3 times. Just before Torin arrives, a few weeks after his birth, and at about the 6 month mark.
I’m really looking forward to shooting this series of photographs. One, because I’ve never done maternity shoots before and two, because Chris and Lora are counseling Joanna and I before we get married in March!
We started out in Torin’s room that they set up just yesterday but since it was so small, we only took a few in there before heading out to the National Arboretum. I haven’t shot there in a while so it was nice to get back there on such a beautiful day!

These pictures are awesome! I love the nursery. It so cute, especially the pictures of the books and ducks. Lora, I am jealous over how perfect your belly is. These pictures really radiate your love for each other, and Torin. You all are going to be a perfect family. Not too much longer. Congrats!
To the photographer: You did a phenomenal job! I love the black and white pics, especially the one w/ Lora near the columns where you can see her reflection in the water. Awesome!

Dear Chris and Lora,
The pictures are very beautiful and very loving. They made me cry. They will a beautiful keepsake reminder of this wonderful time of waiting with great anticipation and wanting for Torin. I can’t wait to see you holding him in your arms. Mike and I love you and are so happy to be a small part of your lives. We continue to keep you guys and the “little man” in our prayers. Donna
