EVENT! Malaria No More Champions Breakfast

I had the great opportunity to photograph an event for Malaria No More and the Malaria Policy Center at the new Capitol Visitors Center.

The event was to celebrate those who have been hard at work in the fight against malaria.  Among the recipients of the Malaria Champion globe award were Senator Russ Feingold of Wisconsin, Chairman Donald Payne of New Jersey, Representative John Boozman of Arkansas, and Ray Chambers, a UN Special Envoy for Malaria.

Special guests in attendance were Sarah Brown, maternal health advocate and spouse of the Prime Minister of the United Kingdom, as well as actor Forest Whitaker.
