SNAP!

Christoper Williams and Steph Modder

December 14, 2007

Christopher Williams has been trying to book a show at Ebenezers for about a year now and finally we were able to book him.

Steph Modder opened with some of her old and new songs (I can’t wait for the new record Steph… hurry up and release it already!) She also played a few Christmas Carols including Foom Foom (sp?), a Spanish Christmas Carol and one I had never heard.  My roommate, Steve, backed her up on drums.

The Christopher Williams took the stage and played an hour plus set featuring music from his record, When I Was Everything and some music from his upcoming album.  He, too, got into the Christmas spirit by playing some songs from his 2005 Christmas CD, UnbrokenSong.  It’s a great record with new version of timeless songs.  My favorite is It Came Upon a Midnight Clear.

After the show was over, Steph wanted me to take some bio photos for her paragraph on National Community Church’s website.  She’s probably going to kill me for posting these and telling you to email her and let her know that these are really good photos (that is, IF you like them).  It was impromptu so we could stand to spend a little more time setting up shots, but all she said was she need a quick bio pic.  I think we did good for a quick pic.

If you missed the show, keep your eyes on Ebenezers website.  A full concert schedule is posted there.
