Engagement shoots with SNAP!

First, CONGRATS ON YOUR UPCOMING WEDDING!! We’re excited that you’re considering SNAP! for this big day!

We love engagement shoots because we feel it’s a great way for us–the photographer(s)–to connect with the bride and groom to-be in a very personal, relaxed setting. Though it’s usually just two hours together, it most definitely helps us get a sense of your personality, dynamic as a couple, preferences, etc.  It also a way for you to get to know us and get to know how we work and give direction during portraits.

Most of all, it helps you become comfortable in front of camera.  Many people haven’t spent a lot of time in front of a camera getting professional portraits taken, so it takes some time to warm up and get comfortable.

Think of the engagement session as the practice session.

The two hour session is made up of two parts so we ask that you bring two outfits, a casual look and a more formal look.  We’ll shoot in a location that is special to the both of you.  Be creative!  We love props too!  Dogs, bicycles built for two, vintage suitcases, or anything really!  This is your session… make it YOU!
