WEDDING! Marcie & Todd

I was so excited to shoot Marcie & Todd’s wedding this past weekend!

I’ve known Todd since 11th grade.  We were in youth group at church together, we played basketball with each other and against each other, we went to the same college.  Getting to see an old friend get married is always really cool and what makes being a photographer so awesome!  Todd and I hadn’t been in contact in years until he sent me a facebook message telling me he was getting married and needed a photographer.

Todd married the forever smiling, Marcie.  They were so nervous but you would never know that when talking to them on Saturday afternoon in Salem, Virginia.  The two of them are so full of joy and grace of which my second shooter, Ryan, and I were recipients.

Marcie walked do the aisle, smiling from ear to ear, tears squeaking out of her joyous eyes.  Todd waited, focused on Marcie, his bride.  Together, they became one and celebrated at the beautiful Hotel Roanoke with friends and family.
